NOTE: These are live, in-classroom sessions.
This course introduces Adobe InDesign CC, the industry-standard feature-rich layout program. By the end of the workshop participants will be able to create single and multipage documents for screen or print. Underpinned by best practice and time-saving workflows users will discover fundamentals of design to create effective layouts. Integrate Photoshop, Illustrator and other content to produce press-ready artwork including leaflets, flyers, academic posters and publications.

Aims and objectives
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Set-up and manage the InDesign environment and layout workflow
- Create single and multipage documents, master pages - paginate, reflow and rearrange layout
- Use text frames to add text from Word, thread text, manage overset text, apply text formatting and multicolumn layouts
- Place images, create graphic elements, select, transform and align shapes, collect and place elements
- Work with swatches, colour and transparency
- Optimise output for print and web. Save, export and package your work in the best format for others, including colleagues, students or publishers
