This course is designed to equip participants with the skills and techniques necessary for effective minute taking. Â Attendees will go through the process from creating an agenda to sending out completed minutes.
This course is ideal for anyone who is tasked with taking minutes in meetings. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises, participants will leave with the confidence to take on the minute-taker's role in any meeting setting.
Aims and objectives
By the end of the course, participants will:
- Build confidence in the skill of taking minutes.
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a minute taker and other meeting participants.
- Explore the best practices for preparation, attendance and follow up of meetings.
- Be able to identify the key components of taking notes with templates
- Be able to master the art of writing minutes that are concise, clear, and easy to understand
- Explore the differences between online and in person minute taking.Â
