The general requirements are 480 credits over a period of normally four years (and not more than five years) or part-time equivalent, of which the final two years form an approved Honours programme of 240 credits, of which 90 credits are at 4000 or 5000 level and at least a further 120 credits at 3000 and/or 4000 or 5000 levels.

Further requirementsChoose 120 credits in academic year Access to EC5201 - EC5203 is only available with the permission of the Director of Teaching to students in the Second Year of an Honours Programme who have achieved at least 17.5 in a relevant module, namely, EC3303 or EC3306 for EC5201, EC3302 or EC3505 for EC5202, in EC4401 for EC5203Over the third AND fourth year and with the permission of the Honours adviser, a maximum of 20 credits can be from 3000 level and 4000 level VIP modules, ID4002, EC4422, EC4498 for students enrolled in a VIP supervised within the Department of Economics. Students who take VIP modules supervised within the Department of Economics will not be eligible to enrol in the dissertation module EC4499. |
In the case of students who spend part of the Honours programme on a recognised Study Abroad scheme, the Programme Requirements will be amended to take into account overseas courses which are approved by the relevant ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ School in the Learning Agreement (see ).
