Research and Innovation Services, under the direction of the Vice Principal for Research, Collections and Innovation, are responsible for formulating and implementing University policy, planning and coordinating developments.

The University provides support for researchers seeking external funding, in pre- and post-award management, and also operates a series of funding schemes accessible to researchers within the University.

The University Library provide a number of services to help researchers plan for, manage, and publish their research.

The Open Research team provides support on open access, research data management and the journal hosting service.

The University can provide help and resources to researchers who are looking to generate impact from their research.

The Technology Transfer Centre supports the University Strategy through the translation of knowledge and intellectual property. It aims to enhance the impact of the University research portfolio through engagement with industry and non-industry partners.

CEED provides joined-up learning and teaching support to staff and students, combining educational development, pedagogical workshops, technology-enhanced learning and IT skills, and academic and study skills support.

OSDS delivers a wide range of professional development programmes for all University staff – academic, research and professional.

Pure is the University of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳’ research information system which brings together key information on all aspects of research at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳.

Research and Innovation Services provide support with demand managed funding calls, where the number of applications an institution can submit to a research call is limited.

Members of the PRC provide a supportive network across the University as reviewers serving on internal selection panels.
