The University works hard to maintain a good relationship between all residents — from members of staff and their families, to students and the rest of the local community. St Andrews residents can benefit from a number of University facilities available to them — even if they do not have a direct connection to the University.

Saints Sport Community Membership gives you full access to the main gym, the Saints Fitness class programme and facilities for casual use, including multi-sport courts and pitches, the indoor tennis centre and the climbing wall.
The Music Centre offers the opportunity to perform, listen to or learn about music.
The Byre Theatre hosts a varied and vibrant programme of University events plus professional touring productions of theatre, dance, musicals, music, opera and family performances.
Local residents may apply to the University’s part-time and flexible study courses.
